This policy describes the current static website setup. If analytics, donation tools, sign-up forms, embedded media or other third-party services are added later, this page should be updated before those tools are launched.
1. Current website setup
In its current static form, the Upnedy Foundation Limited website does not deliberately use advertising cookies, behavioural tracking pixels or a user account system. The website uses browser code for presentation, navigation, loading effects, counters and accessibility-friendly interactions.
We display a consent banner so visitors can choose “Essential only” or “Allow optional cookies”. The banner stores that choice in the browser’s local storage so it does not keep appearing on every page. This consent preference is not used to track visitors, and no optional analytics or advertising cookies are active in the current version.
Our hosting, security and delivery providers may process limited technical logs such as request time, IP address, browser information and error information to operate and protect the service. Those logs are not used by Upnedy to build an advertising profile.
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website can store on a device. Similar technologies can include local storage, pixels or device identifiers. They can help a website remember a setting, understand usage or support a service.
Strictly necessary tools
Necessary tools support basic delivery, security, navigation or accessibility. They cannot usually be disabled through the website without affecting how it works.
Analytics and performance tools
No analytics tool is intentionally enabled in the current static version. If we add one, we will explain what it measures, why it is needed and what choices are available.
Third-party resources
The current pages request fonts from Google Fonts to display the chosen typography. A visitor’s browser may connect to that provider to retrieve the font files. We do not use that connection to identify visitors through an Upnedy advertising profile. External providers remain responsible for their own privacy practices.
3. Your choices
You can choose “Essential only” to allow only the storage needed for the website and your consent preference, or “Allow optional cookies” if you want to permit future optional tools. No optional analytics or advertising cookies are currently active, so either choice provides the same current site experience.
You can also control cookies and local storage through your browser settings, including deleting stored data, blocking third-party cookies or receiving a warning before data is stored. Blocking necessary tools may affect presentation or functionality.
4. Personal information
Cookies and technical logs can sometimes be linked with other information to identify a device or person. Our approach to information that people choose to share with us is explained in the Privacy Policy.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the website, hosting arrangements or third-party services change. The latest version will be published here with a revised date. If we introduce non-essential tracking, we will describe the tool and update the choices available to visitors.
6. Contact
Questions about cookies or technical privacy can be raised through the Get in touch page. The Foundation should add a monitored privacy contact email before treating this draft as final.
